Updated version of the original Federal freecoaster hub with a 14mm hollow chromoly axle, improved bearings in the driver with an added bushing for extra support and an angular contact bearing (ACB) behind the driver for additional side load support. The Federal V2 hub also features externally adjustable slack which is adjusted through the non-drive side of the axle with an Allen key. The external adjustability will allow you to increase or decrease slack without disassembling the hub or removing the wheel from the bike
